Yes, just to see a live Action Version of my favorite Badass Comic Anti-hero is good enough for me, But Why is he in the movie?

No really why?

He has nothing to do with the Weapon X program.
The loose association he could possible have with the film has nothing to do with Wolverine at all.

If you'll forgive my Fanboyness the only real association before the X-Men, that Gambit has to the Weapon X Jambooree that they seem to be creating, is through Sabertooth, Victor Creed.


Where is that association? you might ask, well i'll Fuckin tell you

First you need to know who Mr. Sinister is, if you don't look it up.

Next Gambit was recruited, after being a Superpowered hobo for many years, By Mr. Sinister.

He was asked to lead a team The Marauders - Look it up - which had a member by the name od Sabertooth.
That is all.


The team went to do some things that were questionable and when sabertooth and other members of the team started killing Morlocks, Again Look it up.

That was the Beginning of Gambit's Anti-Hero Character.

Now we come to the real reason the Cajun Swinger is in this film.

Fanboys, Like me, Super sexy fanboys.

We all love Gambit, We don't care about what movie he's in, If you read forums and blogs that were posted around the time of X-Men 2 you read all over the place about Fanboys Busting their balls to the fact that Remy LeBeau's name was in the Mutant registry Computer.

Now whats happening at this point with the movie, well they are bringing him in with some intention of riding his ass for a few more movies, because they've got Taylor Kitsch signed on for a 3 Movie deal.

A Gambit Origin flick would be better in my opinion than a Wolverine one, simply because there is more characters to draw off of.

In the case of the Wolverine Flick they've gone to the point of bringing in Gambit, and even Emma Frost?

Deadpool is a nice positive to the movie, however brief and unfaithful his Portrayal will be,

IN that if they are paying Pretty boy Ryan Reynolds Money to be on the Screen they aren't going to cover hime with burn scars.


Yes that is Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and THis is a Screen CAP from the Leaked trailer, Next time you watch look more carefully.

So where to take this in conclusion, Movie will be Wicked,

Maybe...

Why? If they don't re-invent all the side plots then it should be quite good.

The Only Other issue is that they are Basically creating under the Guise of Marvel a first Ever childhood for Wolverine,

EVER!
this is massive, like huge, and if they Fuck that up, God help us super sexy Fanboys.
