Well Seth, to answer your question I have heard that term a time or two, however because of your lovely question I have decided to dig a little deeper.

Where is deeper? you might ask well it's not where you think seth, so get your mind out of the gutter.

I'm talking about knowledge.

There are not many place to go online to find this answer so I've decided to do things the old fashion way. With Books!

so I went down to the Local Library, and took a look around, and I knew what i was looking for as soon as I saw it. there he was a tall obese man sitting at the computer, with a long line behind him. Apparently it was my lucky day, All the reference computer's had broken down except one, and this Muckytox of a man was spending an eternity writing down every reference number for the entire Star Wars Spin off book collection imaginable.
No you might think: "But BlogDonkey why would you say this is lucky?" well folks, because this guy is a dick head, and what better way to research something than to watch it unravel first hand.

SO after Pig face was done with the computer I rudely sidled up to him and asked him... "Sir, have you ever heard of the term dick head?"

and he said to me:

so i did

then he said

"Long long ago, in a Galaxy far, far away, there was a prince"

and I said

"What the fuck are you talking about"

He rebutted

"Star wars: the new Galaxy"

so i got up and left, having gathered all the information that i needed.

For you see seth the term dick head emerged long ago from the school of thought that believe if you were overtly masculine or overly driven sexually you were in fact thinking with your genitals, this slowly over time went from:

Genital Brains
to
Penis Brains
to
Penis Head
to
Andy Dick
to
Dick head.

so the origin of the word is associated with hypermasculine behaviour that is in fact connected with the condescension associated with the modern term today.
